Proof Portal is an easy to use website that enables online proofing for distributors and suppliers of print and/or promotional products. It is available as a stand-alone service, or can be integrated with our QuickOrder Portal eCommerce sites to enable DIY proofing at the point of purchase. It can also be integrated with our back office software packages PromoServe (for promotional products) and TransAction Print (for print management),

PDF Proofs

  • Templates are uploaded into a central proof manager, which stores PDF templates, fonts and customer proofs.
  • Variable text can be uploaded in the form <var01>, fonts, sizes and other attributes will be recognized on upload.
  • The functionality to change any aspect of variable is available.
  • Variables can be grouped to create multiple lines of text that shuffle depending on whether all lines are completed.
  • Ability to add mandatory fields.
  • Image swop functionality, allows users to swop, rastor or vector image areas with their own logo, which can then be automatically re-sized to fill area or used at standard.
  • Output proofs have the option to be watermarked.
  • High resolution PDfs can be created, amended and downloaded into the back office system, print ready.

Integration

QuickOrder Portals allow you to upload products to the sites, provide customers the ability to browse and search for products, accept enquiries and orders, alter design and integrate with PromoServe and TransAction Software.

Users

Users of Quick Order Portal Print Proofing get all of the standard functionality with their E-Commerce Quick Order Portal with the added ability to re-order past orders and view and submit past proofs, therefore ordering time for existing customers is dramatically reduced.

Image Store

Image banks can be set against a template or a user, allowing customers to choose an image to swop into a template from a central store against the template or an image that is user specific.

Field Mapping

User specific information can be stored and mapped to particular variable fields in a template, allowing entry of variables to be automatically populated with user details.

  • Sales Orders are automatically downloaded into PromoServe or Transaction Office, with the link to the approved PDF.
  • PDF proofs are stored online, to allow easy access for customers, sales staff and printers.
  • Automatic Purchase Order raise routine has been built into the back office system to create purchase orders and send them via email to the relevant supplier with the product description and PDF link embedded.
